Elias G. Carayannis (PhD, MBA, BScEE, CPMMA) is Full Professor of Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Information Systems and Technology Management, School of Business, The George Washington University, Washington, DC 20052 (U.S.A.). He is Director of Research, Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, European Union Research Center (EURC) (also George Washington University), and Co-founder and Co-Director of the Global and Entrepreneurial Finance Research Institute (GEFRI). Otmar Höll is Director of the Austrian Institute of International Affairs (oiip), guest-professor and lecturer at Universities in Austria (esp. University of Vienna, Visiting Professor at the Danube University Krems / DUK) and abroad, trainer in political education. He also took a degree in psycho-therapy and group-dynamics. He has widely published books and articles, esp. in the field of national and international foreign and security, development and environment policy, and globalization. He has been in the editorial and advisory boards of national and international scientific journals and is still an activist in developmental NGOs. His main research areas are: Austrian foreign and security policy, European Integration, Globalization and international system dynamics, policies regarding development and environment (sustainability), comprehensive security, crisis and conflict research, political psychology.
